Assemblies
All our assemblies are closely linked to our Vision, Aims and Values 'Nurture, Progress, Succeed' and aim to develop our children’s Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural understanding as well as promote the fundamental British values of: democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and the mutual respect and tolerance of the those of different faiths and beliefs. Our assemblies are based on themes and are as follows: -
Monday - Whole school assembly based on the week's theme
Tuesday - Singing assembly where a range of song genres and themes are taught
Wednesday - Class assemblies using either BBC Newsround or Katie Harrison Picture News
Thursday - Key Stage assemblies based on the week's theme
Friday - Whole school NPS merit assembly
