Welcome back from the Easter holidays.
We have had a lovely start to this short half term with a story called Bog Baby by Jeanne Willis.
It explores themes of empathy and caring the creatures in our environment and introduces the children to the concept of habitats.
In math's we have been working on combining small sets numbers of fruit and writing a number sentence.
1+2=3
1+3=4
1+4=5
This was the first step for many. Have a go at home.
Art work we have been printing and adding features to the habitat of the Bog Baby.
In the woods we have been looking for mini beasts. You can do this at home and also try to identify the flowers around school as I don't know the names of some of these beautiful flowers.
Here are a few highlights.
Adding groups together
Trying healthy foods.
Looking for mini beats

Hello,
This week we have noticed signs of Spring and talked about the Christian Story of Easter.
They looked at signs of Spring;
Lambs, buds, chicks, birds making nests, shoots, leaves on tree, sunny weather, flowers were just a few of the answers they gave.
We talked and learnt about the Easter festival traditions of egg rolling and the Easter Bunny delivering eggs on Easter Sunday.
In math's we were working on all number facts within 10 . That's looking at different way's to make 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10.
Have a great holiday looking at signs of Spring, naming common flowers and enjoying the lovely weather.
Keep up the reading and subitising.
The final gallery of the Heads Projects.
